The Nursing and Health, Wellness, and Society teams at SNHU invite you to participate in our upcoming 6th annual virtual event, Global Summit 2026, Human-Centered Leadership in a Global Context: From Local Action to Worldwide Impact. In keeping with our mission of supporting communities through training and education, this event seeks to serve an interdisciplinary audience of professionals and learners who acknowledge the unique global health challenges facing the world today and into our future.  

The event will be held virtually on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. ET

This year’s conference objectives are to…  

  • Explore how human-centered interprofessional leaders integrate evidence, ethics, and empathy when navigating complex global environments.  
  • Examine how advocacy efforts influence policy, practice, and access to care in diverse global contexts.  
  • Discuss the role of narrative, lived experience, and cultural context in shaping leadership in healthcare.  

The call for abstracts is now open and closes on July 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
